‘Andor’ trailer reveals Star Wars Present delay and three episodes

Desire plug in all the openings in the Star Wars timeline continues unabated with Andor, the upcoming show streaming on Disney Plus. Its first three episodes dropped on September 21 (instead previously scheduled for August 31) but you won’t have to wait that long to see it – a new trailer for the second discount program.

The trailer hints at recruiting Cassian Andor into the uprising against the tyrannical Galactic Empire. The trailer also teases the Royal backlash to the growing resistance movement and sees the return of radical rebel Saw Gerrera (Forest Whitaker, who previously starred in the film. Rogue OneCHOLD series Rebels and video games Jedi: Fallen Orders).

Created by Tony Gilroy, best known for his work in the Bourne and Michael Clayton films, Andor stars Diego Luna back as Andor 5 years before his lover’s events Rogue One. The 2016 Star Wars spinoff is a direct prequel to Original Star Wars moviegrossed over $1 billion at the box office.

Andor’s 12-episode first season is said to focus on the formation of the Rebel Alliance. And then we’ll have a 12-episode second season that leads directly into Rogue One, Gilroy confirms in Anaheim Star Wars Celebration in the May.

Andor came a few months later Obi-Wan Kenobi series, it’s a fact back to form and relevance for the Star Wars series.
