Donald Trump Seems Two Candidates Approval Simply By Selecting ‘Eric’ In GOP Missouri Senate Race

On Monday night, the former President Donald Trump gave his endorsement in the hotly contested Republican Missouri Senate race.

Except Trump didn’t just pick one candidate. Instead, he seems to choose two candidates, both (Eric Greitens and Eric Schmitt) with the same name.

“I trust the Greats of Missouri, on this, to decide for themselves, just as they did when they gave me resounding victories in the 2016 and 2020 Elections, and thus I’m proud to announce that ERIC has Full and Full Endorsements! Trump said in a statement.

Following the former president’s announcement, Greitens told The Daily Beast through a spokesperson that he was “honored to receive the endorsement of President Trump,” although the endorsement was unclear.

“From the very beginning of the race, I was the real MAGA Warrior fighting against the RINO organization that backs Mr. Schmitt,” he added, citing a message Trump sent Sunday night. Social Truth slam Schmitt.

Schmitt also later claimed Trump’s endorsement as his own, saying in a statement: “It is truly an honor to have the endorsement of President Trump.”

Not to be outdone, Greitens later tweeted that he spoke to Trump and thanked him for the endorsement.

Schmitt also said the former president called him and he thanked him for his vote of confidence in the race.

Trump’s last-minute statement came just before Election Day and after The Daily Beast’s report that Trumpworld is still very much divided in the race.
