Host Brian Kilmeade and Fox News contributor Raymond Arroyo ripped Beyoncé above Ingraham’s Corner, Second, through the lyrics of “Heated” on her new album Renaissance. This came in response to the news that Beyoncé said she would removed the word “spaz” in the song after receiving backlash. While many people believe spaz to mean crazy, it is actually a derogatory term for hemiplegia, a form of cerebral palsy that makes it difficult for people to control certain muscles. Kilmeade and Arroyo appeared to mock Beyoncé’s decision to remove the word before accusing her of some other lyrics.
“Now, Brian,” Arroyo said after playing a clip of the song, “Beyoncé uses the N-word, dirty terms for male/female genitalia, breasts, and buttocks, but spaz is a derogatory word. in that song.”
Arroyo doesn’t believe Beyoncé will go far enough by just fixing that one word.
“So Beyoncé is getting rid of the word spaz,” Arroyo said. “Never mind that it continues on the back end, that’s totally fine. I don’t think she’s gone far enough with cleaning up and fixing the lyrics. “
Kilmeade continues to attack Beyoncé, not just for her lyrics.
“Do you like when you’re a little older you’re gentler sometimes? I mean, she’s a parent,” Kilmeade said. “You know, you’d think we hadn’t really seen her in a while, barely dressed, dancing around, and now she’s back to being as vile as ever, putting released X-rated lyrics.”
Kilmeade and Arroyo also tore drakewho co-wrote the song with Beyoncé.
“Incidentally written by Drake. He wrote those lovely lyrics,” Arroyo said. “But why you sing them like a famous woman that young people come to, I don’t quite understand.” “That’s right, and a great combination – great poem there,” joked Kilmeade. “I think it will go down in history.”
