JoJo Siwa claims Candace Cameron Bure “didn’t share all the details of the meeting” after confirming that the actress called her after Their recent feud has hit the headlines.
“We talked on the phone. She shared that in her [Instagram video],” Siwa, 19, said Thursday in an exclusive video obtained by Page Six, explaining more about Cameron Bure explains to her Instagram followers on Tuesday.
“It was at the party after that she didn’t want to take a picture with me, and I agreed to that,” the “Dance Moms” alum said.
“But then I turned around, and when I looked back, she was taking pictures with the other kids.”
Siwa says that’s the part that makes her “really, really sad”, calling it “one of those memories” that has always been “stuck with” her.
“When you’re a kid and someone says something to you, and you’ll never forget it as long as you’re alive – I think we’ve all had that moment – and I feel this is the moment. That was for me,” she explained.
Despite some residual feelings from what Siwa previously described as a “difficult experience”, she admitted that “it was a positive call” with Cameron Bure.
“We had a conversation that lasted about 10 minutes, and it was sweet,” she said. “She apologized, and we talked. No da is great. It’s great. “
Over the weekend, Siwa posted a TikTok video in which she answered what was suggested as “the rudest celebrity I’ve ever met” with a photo of the 46-year-old “Full House” star.
The revelation went viral and despite the media frenzy that followed, it seems Siwa has no regrets.
“I’m honest, and that’s what I’ve always done and always will,” she said on Thursday.
In Cameron Bure’s apology video, before a difficult Bible verse posted to her Instagram Story, the actress told her followers that she had reached out to Siwa to address the dancer’s “rude” issue.
The Hallmark star said she knew she had angered Siwa when a then-underage YouTuber asked her to take a photo at the 2016 premiere of “Fuller House”.
Cameron Bure says she told Siwa, “Not now,” and then went on to take pictures with the others. However, the actress didn’t make it clear that those people were children and also seems to clearly remember the interaction happening on the red carpet, where a celebrity would understandably be busier.
Cameron Bure – has a 23-year-old daughter, Natasha, has come to her mother’s defense now twice in the midst of the scandal – said she felt “terrible” hearing the story but was even worse because it could hurt Siwa’s mother’s feelings in the process.
Siwa confirmed that was the case, saying on Thursday that her mother actually told “exactly” the same story two years ago on a podcast.
“We just found that out yesterday,” she said.
In the middle of her interview, which took place at a gas station while the former Nickelodeon star was filling her tank, two young fans approached and sarcastically asked if they could take a picture with her. .
“Entirely possible! Of course,” Siwa replied enthusiastically, asking the little girls’ names and complimenting one of their shirts. “Let’s do it!”
Siwa crouched behind the girls and hugged them as she smiled for a few seconds. She thanked them before getting back in the car and driving away.
