Main meals model remembers 53 dietary and beverage merchandise as a result of attainable microbial contamination

Lyons Magnus LLC said it is voluntarily recalling 53 nutritional products and beverages due to concerns about possible microbial contamination.

According to a report from FDAannounced on July 29, the possibility of microbial contamination coming from the organism Cronobacter sakazakii.

Cronobacter is a type of bacteria found in many dry foods, including powdered milk, powdered milk, herbal teas and starches, according to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.


Although Cronobacter diseases are rare, they can be fatal to infants and adults with weakened immune systems.

The 53 recalled products do not include products specifically marketed for or intended for infants.

The recalled products include items under brand names such as Oedly and Premier Protein.

The FDA said anyone in possession of these products should throw them away immediately or bring them back to the store for a refund.
