The wait for Jaden Greathouse won’t last much longer.
The four-star broad-based employer will announce its commitment decision on July 15. Greathouse has focused on four schools since early May: Notre Dame, Oklahoma, South Carolina and Texas.
The 6-foot-1, 210-pound Greathouse made official visits to Oklahoma, South Carolina, and Notre Dame in June and in that order. Instead of visiting Texas for the last weekend of June visit, Greathouse played in a 7v7 tournament with his teammates from Austin (Texas) Westlake.
Nick Harris, country analyst for Rivals wrote recently that “Notre Dame is the noisiest school” in the Greathouse recruitment. As of Tuesday afternoon, rival FutureCast had three predictions for Greathouse’s commitment all support Notre Dame.
Competitors rank Greathouse as the 9th wide receiver and 69th overall in the 2023 class. Greathouse helped lead Westlake to the UIL Conference 6A Division 2 state championship in Texas last season. With a five-star midfielder Cade Klubnika Clemson’s 2022-registered player, throwing him passes, Greathouse finished his junior season with 66 contacts at 1,274 yards and 20 touchdowns.

Notre Dame just ended a six-day stretch, during which it made five verbal commitments in the classrooms of 2023 and 2024. Among them was the 2024 wide receiver. Cam Williams and the receiver is wide 2023 Rico Flores Jr.both are four star rookies.
Williams is the only committed wide receiver in Notre Dame’s top-rated class of 2024. Flores joins the four-star wide collection Braylon James in Notre Dame’s top-ranked class of 2023. Greathouse has an overall rating higher than all three of Notre Dame’s current broad-based engagements.
