Sandy Hook victim’s parents, Jesse Lewis, confronted conspiracy theorist Alex Jones in an Austin courtroom, having been quarantined under the protection of an increased security force, their attorneys said on Monday.
“Unfortunately, after several encounters – not happening in court, there have been several encounters here in the city of Austin – my client is currently in isolation and they are being protected by a great security staff,” said Mark Bankston, an attorney for Scarlett Lewis and Neil Heslin.
Bankston declined to provide any details about the encounters.
“I can tell you they’re scared, but they’re very intent on continuing this story and ending this experiment because they know a lot of people around the world are watching them,” he said. “They know their responsibilities, and we’ll keep them safe and we’ll get this done.”
