Technoblade, a popular type Minecraft YouTuber, died of cancer at the age of 23.
In one video uploaded to his YouTube channel titled “so long nerds” and narrated by his father, Technoblade thanked his fans and streamers for their support over the years and revealed that His real name is Alex. (He “accidentally” slipped, which he called Dave in an earlier video.)
“Hello everyone, it’s Technoblade. If you’re watching this, I’m dead,” he said. “Thank you to all of you who have supported my content over the years. If I had 100 more lives, I think I would choose to be Technoblade again, because those were the happiest years of my life. ”
In the video, Technoblade apologizes for “selling too much in the past year” by delivering merchandise, but notes that, as a result, his siblings will be able to go to college. “Well, if they want to,” he added. “I don’t want to pressure any of their dead brothers.”
Technoblade’s father described how the two discussed creating a final video, but said Alex had “had difficulty writing articles” due to the effects of his illness.
His father says Technoblade wrote the script for his last video in bed and died shortly after. “I don’t think he said everything he wanted to say, but I think he got the main points,” his father said. “He finished that and then he finished. He lived about eight more hours after that.”

“I feel a bit silly talking about this to Minecraft Technoblade said in the video. “But I am a Minecraft Youtuber – I don’t do live video, I guess most people would talk about serious things. ”
He jokes in the video about how “the chemotherapy session is going to be great content” and when he calls people to tell them about the diagnosis, “no one gets worse news than the insurance provider.” My medical – they were unresolvable for weeks. ”

I will never forget the day I met Technoblade. I went to work early to play in a Minecraft tournament with him. I barely know how to play… and the guy still piggybacked us to win the whole damn event.
Rest in peace, buddy. You will always be a legend.
