Victoria Beckham not exactly ready for her daughter to have an Instagram profile.
“Harper isn’t on social media, so we don’t have to worry about that,” she explained in a July 3 interview with Vogue Australia. “But seeing how cruel humans can be, it’s true [concern me]. “
Reflecting on how body-shaming is happening in the online world, Victoria noted that as they cross that bridge, communication is key.
“She’s at an age where her body starts to change, but it’s about making sure we socialize as much as a family and that she surrounds her with good friends,” she says. “But it’s pretty horrible, I can’t lie.”
So Harper doesn’t spend her time writing captions on Instagram, but best of all – she’s known for writing sweet letters to her parents. Back in February 2021, Victoria shared her Instagram Story a note Harper writes before going to bed.
“Dear Mom, I love you so much and I am my best friend,” Harper wrote. “I love when we always do makeup together, you are my heart and I love you Good night sweet dreams Love Harper.”
But Harper’s words don’t stop there. At that time, the 9-year-old girl also wrote a letter to her father, David Beckhamon a yellow index card.
“Dear Dad, I hope you have a great night’s sleep and best friends,” the letter read. “You worked so hard today and I’m so proud of you love you so much Good night.”
And while the social media world may be a few years away, it looks like Harper will have no trouble writing a post when that day comes.
